Australian Prime Minister Receives Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL)

At the Prime Minister's residence in Sydney, His Excellency Mr. Anthony Albanese, the Prime Minister of Australia, received His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars.
The meeting featured an extensive dialogue on the importance of maintaining social cohesion within societal diversity through mutual respect and cooperation, while emphasizing the need to strengthen friendship between nations and peoples through high-impact initiatives and revitalizing the role of United Nations organizations in this regard. The Australian model of coexistence in all its diversity was commended, along with the distinguished role of the Australian government in supporting and entrenching it.
