H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, launches the Atlas of the Ten Qura’anic Reciters and Their Transmitters, authored by Sheikh Sami Al-Maghlouth.

At the MWL headquarters in Mekkah, H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa launched a new book authored by Sheikh Sami Al-Maghlouth entitled: Atlas of the Ten Quran’anic Reciters and Their Transmitters.

The new book provides scholars with a comprehensive historical and illustrated Atlas documenting the ten Qur’anic recitations, their principle transmitters, and the geographical and scholarly networks through which these traditions have been preserved across the Islamic World.

The event was attended by a number of scholars and researchers specialising in Qur’anic Sciences and Qur’an recitation and underpins the MWL’s efforts in serving the Qur’anic recitations through documentation and oral transmission.
