Today, from Al Rahman Masjid in Auckland, following its official opening:
H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, delivered the Friday sermon and led the Friday prayer.

The sermon addressed a number of the values and teachings of Islam, highlighting its approach to dealing with various situations and circumstances that are part of the life of a Muslim in a multicultural world with diverse communities, in accordance with Allah’s universal laws in His creation.

The mosque’s administration affirmed that the sermon represents an important guide and that it will work to publish and disseminate it in order to broaden its benefit throughout New Zealand.

It is worth noting that H.E. is visiting New Zealand in response to an official invitation, during which he will meet with a number of government, parliamentary, and religious leaders from various faiths.
