The sermon addressed aspects of “the guidance of the Holy Qur’an to that which is most upright,” as well as a number of important Islamic matters and teachings relevant to believers in their religious and worldly affairs. These included showing gratitude for Allah’s blessings, upholding Islamic manners with consistency and without double standards in their application, and avoiding conduct that harms themselves or their religion.
