Auckland, New Zealand: Religious Diversity Leaders Host Dr Al-Issa at Forum on Citizenship and Shared Living

Religious diversity leaders in New Zealand hosted Dr Al-Issa at the Forum on Citizenship and Shared Living this evening, attended by representatives of various faiths and prominent community figures from across the country.

Dr Al-Issa spoke about the importance of preventive peace initiatives, mutual understanding and cooperation, and building shared awareness around common values, both universal humanitarian principles and the national values that reflect New Zealand's diversity.

He also highlighted MWL initiatives including "Building Bridges Between East and West," launched at UN Headquarters in New York, and "Protecting Global Youth from Extremist and Violent Ideologies," launched at the UN Office in Geneva, outlining the practical programmes and measurable results that followed. He praised New Zealand for its strong social cohesion and national unity.
